Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck are up to their feuding ways again. Tired of playing second fiddle to Bugs, Daffy has decided to leave the Studio for good. He is aided by Warner Bros.' humor impaired Vice President of Comedy, Kate Houghton, who releases him from his contract and instructs WB security guard/aspiring stunt man DJ Drake to capture and "escort" Daffy off the studio lot.

According to Jerry Beck on the Stu's Show from early this year, he said it's the last volume of the series due to the low sales of the second volume in 2012 and no remastering budget for Warner Bros. to remaster more never-before-released on DVD and Blu-ray Looney Tunes shorts. Only 4 cartoons are new to disc. This is the first and only volume where the Blu-ray only has two discs. Included is a 12 page booklet similar to what came with Volume 2.

It is still broadcasting on Clan TVE. The series was loosely based on the Looney Tunes cartoon characters, with the series described by Warner Bros. as an "action-comedy." Loonatics Unleashed is meant to be a mixture of the Looney Tunes shorts' irreverent style of humor and a modern action animated series, with the characters designed in an anime inspired style.
The Looney Tunes Platinum Collection is a series of Blu-ray and DVD releases containing 150 shorts across 6 discs with special features. The first of the collection was released for Blu-Ray on November 15, 2011, succeeded by the second on October 16, 2012, and finally rapping the collection up with the third instalment on August 12, 2014. DVD releases tended to follow suit, releasing many months afterwards. Volume 1 contained all but seven cartoons not previously featured in subsequent collections such as the Looney Tunes Golden Collection. Volume 2 released with a 3rd disc exclusive to the Blu-Ray version featured within a standard Blu-Ray case differing from Volume 1's digibook. At last, Volume 3 was released after poor sales of Volume 2 leading to low budgets for remastering, it also released with a 12-page booklet.
